ACCESSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY

INTENT

This policy is intended to meet the requirements of Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07 under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and applies to the provision of goods and services to the public or other third parties, not to the goods themselves.

All goods and services provided by National Energy Equipment Inc. shall follow the principles of dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity.

AODA MULTI-YEAR PLAN

OUR COMMITMENT

NEEI is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in inclusion and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. NEEI is committed to developing, implementing and maintaining policies that govern how the organization achieves or will achieve accessibility though meeting this Regulation. To facilitate this commitment, NEEI has established, maintained and documented a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. This plan is reviewed and updated at least once every five (5) years to identify progress made in addressing barriers and will be posted on the NEEI website (www.nee.ca) as well as the internal staff Intranet.

COMMITTING TO AND PROVIDING FOR ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS

Under the AODA, Ontario Regulation 191/11, entitled, Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, [the “Integrated Regulation”] came into force July 1, 2011. The regulation establishes accessibility standards for information and communications, National Energy Equipment Inc. is Included in the regulation’s definition of an “obligated organization” and must comply with the phased-in requirements of the regulation beginning January 1, 2015. National Energy Equipment Inc. is committed to working towards being compliant with all the standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) as they are introduced and become law.

THE INTEGRATED ACCESSIBILITY STANDARD FOR EMPLOYMENT POLICY

Under the AODA, Ontario Regulation 191/11, entitled, Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, [the “Integrated Regulation”] came into force July 1, 2011. The regulation establishes accessibility standards for, employment. National Energy Equipment Inc. is Included in the regulation’s definition of an “obligated organization” and must comply with the phased-in requirements of the regulation beginning January 1, 2016. National Energy Equipment Inc. is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have the same opportunity of access to employment opportunities and related services as do all prospective employees and employees. National Energy Equipment Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities, in a timely manner, in its human resources practices, processes, policies and procedures and employment related services. The commitments in this policy are intended to ensure that accessibility remains a priority in National Energy Equipment Inc.’s decision making process and will serve to assist in ensuring that decisions improve accessibility and do not inadvertently create barriers.
